radioBee is a small program, working as a on-line radio player on your cell phone. You can listen live Internet radio stations through your phone speaker. Wait until initialization is complete and the dialog box disappears. The “Handheld Application Selection” window appears, displaying the applications that you can choose to download to your handheld.

Warning: Settings applied to an application that is installed from your SD card will be removed when you uninstall the application from your device and will not be applied the next time you re-install the same application. We are currently looking for a fix to this, but at this time it is not possible to keep user settings.

TRIAL & ACTIVATION
What is the difference between the trial and full version?
The only difference between trial and full version is that the trial version will only last for 10 days. Otherwise, all the functionality is the same for both versions. I downloaded the trial version and used the registration key. Does that now become the full version or do I need to download the full version? You do not need to download the full version. The registration key simply removes the time restriction of the trial version (therefore becoming the full version).

How do I register BBSmart Shortcuts?
If you have downloaded a trial version, there will be a “Buy/Register” option available from the menu. Alternatively, once your trial runs out, you will then be prompted to enter your registration key to continue use of the software. If you have purchased the full copy, you will be prompted to enter your registration key upon installation.
Help! My registration key is not working?
The registration key for BBSmart Shortcuts is based on your device PIN. If you did not enter your device PIN during the purchase (or entered an incorrect PIN) your registration key will not work. Please email us at support@blackberrysmart.com with your correct PIN (and also your order number) and we will be able to generate a working registration key for you.

To find your PIN, from the BlackBerry Home screen go to Options – Status. Then, scroll down and highlight the PIN field and select “Copy PIN” from the menu and paste this in to an email for us (copying the PIN will avoid spelling errors).

How do I uninstall BBSmart Shortcuts?
We hope you should never have to do this! But if you do, the simplest way is to go to Options – Advanced Options – Applications and scroll down and highlight
“Shortcuts”. Bring up the menu and select “Delete” and when prompted, restart your BlackBerry. Alternatively, you can uninstall BBSmart Shortcuts using the Desktop Manager Software on your PC.

What you need:
T5 Screwdriver
#2 Screwdriver
Plastic opening tools

The steps for disassembly:
- If you want to be on the safe side I’d also recommend using anti static gloves
- To start, remove the back cover by pushing it upwards and sliding it off Remove the battery and stylus
- Using the T5 screwdriver remove the 4 screws at each corner of the main chassis
- Remove the rear speaker at the top of the main chassis by lifting it off
- To remove the front housing, use a plastic tool to get between the front part of the case and the chrome rim. Work it around the edge to release all of the catches
- Now you need to disconnect the front housing from the mainboard by using a plastic tool to gently lift the connection from the mainboard
- Next, disconnect the vibration part by lifting the red and black wired connection from the mainboard
- To remove the mainboard from the chassis, gently pull the USB connection upwards.
- Once it is just out, pull it clear using the sides – avoid touching it as much as possible
- To remove the camera, simply pull it away from the mainboard in the same way as the front housing separates from the mainboard…

OneDay ChIP Kit Instruction Manual

Association between proteins and DNA is crucial for many vital cellular functions such as gene transcription and epigenetic silencing. It is important to know the genomic targets of DNA-binding proteins and the mechanisms by which they control and guide gene regulation pathways and cellular proliferation.

Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is a technique allowing the analysis of the association of proteins with specific genomic regions in the context of intact cells. ChIP is used to determine changes in epigenetic signatures, chromatin remodeling and transcription regulator recruitments (1). The steps of this technique are cell fixation, chromatin shearing, immunoselection, immunoprecipitation and analysis of the immunoprecipitated DNA. In brief, cells are fixed with a reversible cross-linking agent. Next, the cross-linked chromatin (DNA-Protein) is sheared and the DNA fragments associated with the protein of interest are immunoprecipitated (IP’d) using specific antibodies. Finally, the immunoprecipitated DNA is examined for the presence of particular sequences by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Enrichment of specific sequences in the precipitate indicates that the sequences are associated with the protein of interest in vivo.

The most widely used approach to fix DNA-Protein interactions in the living cell is by formaldehyde fixation (cross-linking) that generates covalent bonds between amino or imino groups of proteins and nucleic acids (2). The formaldehyde cross-links DNA-Protein as well as protein-protein complexes in situ. Following cross-linking, chromatin needs to be sheared very effectively into homogeneous small fragments that can subsequently be used in immunoprecipitation (IP). The Bioruptor TM from Diagenode provides you with high quality sheared chromatin ready-to-ChIP. Moreover, at Diagenode one Shearing module is available and brings an easy and highly reproducible shearing method. Then, antibody binding beads and specific ChIP-grade antibodies are necessary to precipitate the proteins cross-linked to genomic DNA fragments. Finally, the relative amount of a particular DNA fragment specifically IP’d is determined by quantitative PCR as a measure of the occupancy of the protein at that particular position in the genome.

Although ChIP is a very versatile tool, the procedure requires tedious optimization of several reaction conditions. Diagenode provides kits with optimized reagents and simplified protocols for ChIP. Another major drawback to ChIP assays is that the traditional ChIP method is time consuming. It involves two overnight incubations (first for antibody binding to the target and then for the purification of the IP’d DNA). Therefore Diagenode offers kits not only for the traditional ChIP method (such as the Red and Orange ChIP kits) but also for the rapid ChIP method (OneDay ChIP kit).

In the OneDay ChIP method the protocol has been improved to enhance the utility of the ChIP procedure, allowing you to perform many more ChIPs per day and per week. All the procedure can be performed in a day of work as the two overnight incubations have been eliminated. Two major steps have been greatly shortened: 1) the antibody binding is accelerated by incubating antibody with chromatin in an ultrasonic bath (3) and 2) the DNA purification is rapid as it has been simplified by the use of a DNA purifying slurry and does not require multiple steps (see kit overview). There are also two kit formats available: one for 60 IPs and another for 180 IPs.
