Mounting Kit Contents
This manual provides installation instructions for server mount kit AB293A. This kit is intended for use with the hp Integrity cx2600 server, and includes the following:
• Two Mounting Rails
• Two Rear Rack Ears
• One Cable Management Strain Relief Bar
• Two Cable Routing Brackets
• Mounting Hardware (screws and nuts)
Mounting Kit
Before mounting your server in the NEBS 2000 rack, inspect the mounting kit hardware. Check that all required mounting hardware is available. A mounting kit parts list is provided at the rear of this manual.
Mount the Server
Mount a server in the NEBS 2000 rack as follows:
Step 1. Remove the rear door from the rack. Set this door aside because it will not be reinstalled on the rack.
Step 2. Attach the cable routing brackets to the server chassis using T15 flathead screws.
Step 3. Attach the rear rack mount brackets to the rear columns as shown in Figure 1-3 using T25 panhead.
