AHK3000-E Keyboard Manual
The AHK3000-E is a keyboard specifically designed for the use by Equities and Fixed Income traders and is based on the same generic style as the AHK3000-D, eliminating the Dealing 3000 specific keys and adding an LED for indication of sharing status. The AHK3000-E has a number of keys which can be set to record user definable macros. Macros can be up to 64 keystrokes in length.
The AHK3000-E also has digital audio controls and built-in speakers.
The AHK3000-E may be connected directly to a PC or workstation. It also fully integrates with the Amulet Hotkey switches, such as the Amulet Hotkey K4u. Each of these devices supplies the necessary power to the keyboard.
Controls & Status LEDs
A - The AHK3000-E is fitted with two status LEDs. The upper LED is not normally used and will only light in the unlikely event of an internal error condition occurring.
B - The lower of these indicates the sharing status of the keyboard when used with a PC KVM sharer or switch, such as the Amulet Hotkey K4u. In this scenario, the LED will light green if access to the PC is switched to this keyboard.
C - A standard USB input for connection of a mouse.
D - The firmware upgrade port is used to connect the keyboard to a PC for upgrading firmware and keycode sets.
E - Keyboard USB and audio input cable.
F - The general purpose stereo audio output connector which can support either headphones or self powered.
