TRANSFERRING A CALL
• Press conf/trns button to put your caller on hold
• Dial the extension number of the party you wish to send the call to, announce the call and hang up to complete the transfer
• To cancel the transfer, press the line key.
TRANSFER A CALL TO A BUSY EXTENSION
• Press the conf/trn button to put your caller on hold
• Dial the extension number number of the party you want to transfer to
• When you hear the busy tone, hang up to complete the transfer (the call will “camp on” behind the current call. When the called party hangs up, the second call will ring through. If the called party does not take the call within a specified time, it will recall to the station that transferred it.)
PAGE
• Lift the handset
• Press the page button (or press #30) and speak into the handset in a normal voice
• Your voice will come out of every speaker phone that is not in use (and the external paging system if applicable)
• Hang up with your finger to avoid the crash of the handset coming over the speaker system.
PLACING A CALL ON HOLD
• Press the hold key to put a call on a regular hold that can be picked up by any other extension.
• To put a call on an exclusive hold that cannot be picked up from any other extension, press the hold key twice.
• Press the Line Key to get your caller back
