The instructions given are intended to be a guide to help you connect your console to the FAU network, and they may not work 100%. Remember to read the system manual first on how to connect your console to the Internet.
1. Turn on both your Computer and the XBOX or XBOX360.
2. Connect your network cable to your computer.
3. Authenticate the connection with your FAUNet ID.
4. Unplug the network cable from your computer.
5. Important: Within 30 seconds, plug the network cable into the console. If you miss the 30 second deadline, reconnect the cable to your computer and re-authenticate.
6. You are now connected. Use the console as you normally would. This workaround is good for 4 hours.
