CallPilot* from Nortel is an advanced business communications system that offers exceptional flexibility for managing your messaging needs. You can work with CallPilot from your telephone or your computer. Here are some of the many CallPilot features you can use by entering commands on the keypad of your touchtone telephone:

• Forward and reply to messages.
• Compose, edit, and send messages.
• Dial and address by name or by number.
• Add message options such as urgent, private, and timed delivery.
• Create personalized distribution lists for sending messages.

The GC75 is a triple band GSM product that enables you to communicate wirelessly from your laptop on all five continents, in over one hundred and sixty countries. As the GC75 provides wireless communications you no longer need to carry cables, telephone jack converters, chargers and batteries. The GC75 is very simple to install and use; the software provided allows you to select the best Data service available so that the GC75 is always available for data transfer.

The GC75 enables your laptop PC to:

Hardware Overview
The GC75 is a standard 16 bit type II PC card. The card is standard length and only the antenna protrudes outside the PC card slot. The amount of power drawn from the laptop battery is dependant upon a number of factors including status, frequency band, distance to GSM base station and number of timeslots used. See Technical Specifications on page 48 for a general guide to power consumption. Before you can start using the GC75 you need to put the hardware together. You will also need a SIM card.

It is highly recommended that you read the complete CitiDISK Installation/Usage Manual and Utility Suite Manual before using this product to help ensure that you get the most out of your CitiDISK HD

Do not drop, jar, bump, shock the unit, or expose to sources of excessive vibration. Keep in mind that CitiDISK HD uses a 2.5” hard drive, which is similar to those used in laptops. Gently handle and carry your CitiDISK HD, especially during video recording. If the battery is not fully charged, user must charge it for at least 4 hours before any self-powered usage.

Note: The following illustration describes each of the buttons of the CitiDISK HD (FW1256HD). These three buttons serve as status indicator lights as well.

CHECKING
• When a SmartMedia card is inserted, you can download the images stored on the card.To download images from the internal memory, remove the SmartMedia card.
• Turn the PC on and check that Windows is running.
• Quit all applications that may be running.
• Olympus recommends the use of an optional AC adapter. If you are using batteries and the power runs out while you are accessing the SmartMedia card in the camera from the PC, the camera may stop functioning mid-operation and files (image data) may be lost.
• If you are not using an AC adapter, check the battery level to make sure that there is enough power left.
• Do not connect or disconnect the AC adapter while the camera is connected to the PC.

• Olympus cannot guarantee operation on a PC that has been upgraded from Windows 95 to Windows 98 even if it has a USB connector.
• If the camera is connected to the PC with the batteries still loaded in the camera, connecting and disconnecting the AC adapter may lead to damage or loss of the image data on the SmartMedia card or computer system lockup.
• Use the USB cable to connect the PC and the camera. We cannot guarantee operation if you connect the PC and the camera by HUB adapter (for connecting several peripheral devices).
• Olympus cannot guarantee operation on a PC whose operating system is not pre-installed at the time it leaves the factory or a PC assembled by the user, as the operating environment of such PCs is not guaranteed by the manufacturer.
